About Gašper Premože

​

With 20 years of experience in industrial design, I have designed about 200 products for more than 20 clients. I strive to innovate at every level of the design process from concept development, hand-sketching, advanced CAD modeling (Rhino 3D), rendering and presentation making, pitching, copywriting, branding, visual design, UX design… and many more. I collaborate with manufacturing, marketing, and selling departments to create a brief that helps me to design a product that is easy to sell.


During seven years of entrepreneurship, I have launched four products on the market, created three crowdfunding campaigns (all successfully), and raised over 150.000 USD on Kickstarter. Through ups and downs, I have learned to lead a team and execute projects. I gained soft skills in communication, teamwork, motivation, and decision-making,
which is why I can successfully work in a team. I am skilled in public speaking, pitching, and presenting ideas to potential investors, so he can help raise funds, build a business or product strategy, create presentations, art direct branding photos & video, and also pitch a business.

 

In years of industrial designing I got familiar with manufacturing technologies like plastic, silicone, stainless steel, glass, fabrics, wood, packaging, etc… I am skilled in product management, organizing and controlling a manufacturing process establishing logistics…

Work collaborations

 

First I have worked in design studios Asobi and Gigodesign. Later I start as a freelancer. I have collaborated with more than 30 clients, designing more than 200 projects. My top five collaborations are:

  • Petrol d.d. - packaging canisters for motor oils and car cleaning fluids

  • Lip Bohinj d.o.o. - wooden furniture and brand “Lore”

  • Vivapen d.o.o. - children's fountain pens Trio, NU, ...

  • Sensum d.o.o. - camera for controlling pill manufacturing

  • Griffing d.o.o. - door handles and brand development

 

My projects

 

As an entrepreneur, I have founded some projects and more are in the development stage. For the two projects I have raised over 150.000$ on crowd-funding platform Kickstarter. My top five creations are:

  • Zen Egg - elegant and meaningful stress-relieving totem

  • Eureka Pen - fountain pen for personal writing

  • Pixel - upholstered furniture for creative spaces

  • Koho - innovative cooking instruments

  • Boomeroll - the first desktop, aim'n'shoot sport

  • Tom - design of upholstered furniture (1. prize)

  • Vivapen d.o.o. - visual identity (1. prize)

  • Best entrepreneurial idea 2018, Podjetniški incubator Črnomelj: fountain pen for children (1. prize)

  • Gospodarsko razstavišče d.o.o.: Chair for Slovenian wood industry (2. prize)

  • Armal - design of a kitchen tap (2. prize)

  • Kolektor Liv - design of a toilette flush button for a concealed system (3. prize)

  • EPK / Evropska prestolnica kulture, reka Drava 2012 Maribor, international competition - design of a raft that bridges the river Drava (honorable mention in national government gazette)

  • Design award: “BIG SEE wood design award 2021”

  • Slovenian national award: “Wooden surplus 2021”

  • Slovenian national award “Wooden surplus 2022” - A resort for touristic destination Kočevsko


I co-create two exhibitions for designers and entrepreneurs that have created and launched their self-founded projects:

  • PopUpDom1 - month-long design exhibition with a renewed apartment

  • PopUpDom2 - month-long design exhibition with a newly established coworking place “Poligon - Kreativni center”
